The 32nd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE
CHILEAN COMPUTER SOCIETY (SCCC)
November 13-15, 2013
PRELIMINARY CALL FOR PAPERS
The International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC) invites the submission of papers describing original, previously unpublished work in all areas of Computer Science.
The SCCC conference is a forum for the presentation of recent original work and an opportunity for students and researchers to extend their research network. The 32nd version of this event will be held in Temuco, Chile, and will be organized by the Catholic University of Temuco. The conference is part of the “Jornadas Chilenas de Computacion 2013″, a wider national-level event that comprises a number of conferences and workshops.
We solicit submissions on the following areas (among possibly others):
- Algorithms; Artificial Intelligence; Theory of Computer
- Science; Databases; Security and Cryptography; Operating
- Systems; Networks, Distributed and Parallel Systems; Computer
- Graphics; Computer Vision; Human-Computer Interaction;
- Collaborative Systems; Software Engineering; Multimedia; Web
- Technologies; Programming Languages; Numerical Methods;
- Simulation; Computer Science and Education; Bioinformatics.
Submissions of 2-page extended abstracts will be open until June 28th, 2013. Submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two members of the program committee. Papers must be written in English and formatted in two-column letter format following the guidelines of IEEE-CS Proceedings (further instructions available at http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting).
Paper submission is via Easychair:
*Important*: You must select the “International Conference of the SCCC” track.
The submissions will be judged for scientific quality and relevance. At least one author of an accepted paper must attend the conference to present the work.
Authors of presented papers will be invited to include their papers in the post-Conference Proceedings. This invitation can be declined if desired. Proceedings will be published by IEEE Press. During the conference, a CD with revised versions of
all abstracts in the program will be distributed among attendants.
